From a young age, I've felt called to lift up more than just my own needs. My prayers have always included my family, my friends, and even the entire world. I often hear people ask others to pray for them. I take pride in knowing that I already have for a very long time. I've built prayer into my life in a way that naturally covers those around me, even those I've never met. For me, praying for others is not a task, it's part of who I am. If you call yourself a service based individual, I believe this is part of your responsibility. Recently, I was moved by a TikTok faith influencer who shared something that shifted the way I view repentance. They spoke on repenting not just for themselves, but for your entire family. It hit me. I realized I could expand my prayers even further. So I began to repent not only for my sins, but for the sins of my circle, family, community, and the whole universe. Not because I think I can fix everything, but because intercession is a form of serving. It's not about guilt. It's about grace. It's about standing in the gap for those who may not yet know how to stand for themselves. My mission is to pray as though my words carry the potential to shift the atmosphere around you. I want to make room for the stranger, the lost, the broken, and even those against me. Just imagine if the world took this stance on inclusive prayer. The amount of all creation that would be wrapped in prayers. If this spoke to you, tonight when you pray, include one person that you've never met.
